            Have you ever had the feeling of drinking in an early age? Well people are going for it like argument like old enough to fight, vote then old enough to drink, but the conflicting evidence is that 21 will reduce accident rate. Do you think it is a good idea or not? But before you say yes think about it a little bit.

“Drinker age ProCon” by ProCon.org has a neutral viewpoint on drinking because of the organization and the slant of each side of the viewpoint. This website organized this webpage as a 1 paragraph description of the topic then it branched of into a t chart describing the (as the URL states) pros and cons of the topic with many details and strong description of each viewpoint. Also this website is as unbiased as it can be because of the neutral word choice in the description. As a conclusion this is a much unbiased website stating that drinking could be good or bad. This website is somewhat reliable because of the URL and the advanced, neat organization of the page. In conclusion if I would rate the pages from 1-10 for reliabilities it would be a 7 because the website is unfamiliar but uses a lot of reliable sources.

          Should Dinking Age Be Lowered? By TIME Magazine is a expository writing informing that drinking age should be lowered because of the privileges that you achieve by the age of 18, like you can vote, adopt children, sign up for Iraq or become a commercial pilot. The view point of this website is to argue to the government to lower the age of 18.This website uses slant and bias in a way that achieves connotation to make people achieve the drinking age at 18.   This website is very reliable because TIME magazine is a very popular, informative site for information and opinions on politics etc.; even though it is a .com the information is trustworthy.           “5 Reason To Keep Drinking At 21” by Vebekmoes persuades states and the U.S. to keep the drinking age at 21 in a logical 5 step reason. Vebekmoes viewpoint about drinking is that it is a dangerous and unethical thing to do at 18. This article is using the descriptive text structure to enhance his viewpoint because he is going in a deeper explanation for each reason. This article does not show conflicting explanation to emphasize the idea that drinking age should not change. This website does not have connotation but shows a slant in his article because he is only supporting one side. This persuasive piece is using the persuasive method of logos because he is arguing in a logical sense. The website I used is not as reliable as the others but it is somewhat reliable. Firstly the website looks like one person made it and unprofessional. Secondly the piece was made in 2008 so it may not be as reliable if it was mad in 2010. In conclusion this website from a 1-10 on reliability it would be a 4.

                  

"Book to Movie" Plan

Authors veiwpoint and thing.
             "Chasing Lincolns Killer," by Jamesl Swanson was written to inform people of the events leading up to the capture of John Wilkes Booth after the assination of President Lincoln.  This book was writen in a chronological order which helps the readers better comprehend the events leading up to Booths capture. 
Because this book is very informative, all the events explained in the book are used to support the authors purpose.  However, because this book was written to inform people of a period of history, there are no conflicting veiwpoints being discussed.  From the sidenotes throughout the book, and the authors personal history, we can infer that the author had a very strong connection to Lincoln and thought of him as a great rolemodel.  However this is not shown in the book which maintains an objective style that does not favor either side.

Set/ Costume
Set must be re-created to look like the area would have looked like during this period in time.
The people will have to be dressed in period clothing that matches what their historical figure would have worn. -Booth and Herold should not bath to more accurity re-create the dirt that they had build up during their escape

General Director/ Editor Things
Very little time spent on the events before the assination-could occur at the same time as the opening credits.
A fade away to black after the bullet was fired. (Could hear the gunshot and people screaming while the screen in black.)
Alot of time needs to be spent on Booths "running from the law"
To show transitions there need to be creative ways to link the two areas, such as a zoom in on one horse, then a zoom out on a horse of the same color in the new area.
